Our carpet cleaning and area rug cleaning services can help you remove the dirt, pet dander, allergens, stains and odors that inevitably make their way into your carpet. You can enjoy clean, comfortable carpets again.

Tile & Grout Cleaning in Friendswood, TX

Although most things are easy enough to wipe up on a tile floor, the grout between the tiles is a whole other story. Because it is porous, grout tends to discolor and stain. Our tile and grout cleaning services can remove those stains and bring back the clean color of the grout.

Friendswood is a city located on the southeast side of Houston and has a population of 35,805. The city earned the distinction of being listed in 2007 as one of the 100 “America’s Best Places To Live” in CNN/Money Magazine.

The city was founded in 1895 as a Quaker colony by Frank Jacob Brown and Thomas Hadley Lewis. The original colony sat on 1,538 acres of land that the founders considered to be a “Promised Land”, an area that was well drained by several creeks and perfect for agriculture. Although the area was popular for growing rice and oranges, the majority of the land was used for growing figs. As the city expanded from a small colony to a town in the 1920s, there were approximately 17,000 acres of figs grown in and around Friendswood.

Like many towns in the area, Friendswood’s growth was bolstered by the development of oil fields around the community in the late 1930s. During the 1940s businessmen from Houston started to be attracted to Friendswood for its open areas and creek side properties, and bought large parcels of land.

The 1950s began the transformation of Friendswood into the suburb of Houston that it is today, when people started to buy homes outside of Houston to get away from the city, yet still commuted in for work. The transformation continued for the next 50 years, leading to the Friendswood of today.

Now residents of the city can enjoy all the benefits of Houston and Galveston while living in a suburb that has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable life.
